Merging cultures between Italy and Brazil, Maxwell Simons releases electrifying album 'Turma 12.00PM', via Beat Machine Records
With high energy levels, the album features references ranging from Badsista to Furacão 2000
The names of your tracks are super connected with the daily life of the outskirts that are connected with Rap, Funk, Hip Hop and other aspects, who are the artists that served as inspiration that contemplate these rhythms?
No inspiration for that, I made a decision on showing a cycle of guilty pleasures from the nightlife to an unpredictable after hour at the hypermarket. More than inspiration for me is just an expression of the self.
Finally, what message do you have for producers at the beginning of their journey and for the public?
It’s all about life and death, what to say, be humble, be kind, run, run fast.
For producers at the beginning of their journey, my advice would be to stay true to yourself and your vision, and to never stop experimenting and pushing the boundaries of your sound.
Don't be afraid to take risks and try new things, and remember that success doesn't happen overnight - it takes time, dedication, and perseverance.
And for the public, I would simply say thank you for your support and encouragement.
Your enthusiasm and energy are what drive me to keep making music, and I'm incredibly grateful for the opportunity to share my art with you.
But really, run.
