Karretero is a Madrid based DJ and producer whose sound is shaped by classical training, underground club culture and years behind the decks. Bridging musical precision with dancefloor instinct, he continues to develop an identity that reflects both his roots and the energy of contemporary electronic music.

1 Where are you from, and what part of your background still influences your music today? / De onde você é que parte dessa trajetória ainda influencia sua música hoje?
I´m from Spain (Madrid), Currently, the artists who influence me the most are Joseph Capriati, Franky Rizardo and Blondish.
Sou da Espanha, de Madri. Atualmente, os artistas que mais me influenciam são Joseph Capriati, Franky Rizardo e Blond:ish.
2 For those discovering your music for the first time, what should they know about you? Para quem está conhecendo seu som pela primeira vez, o que deveria saber sobre vocês?
First of all, my essence is house and tech house, you can listen to mywork on all platforms.
Antes de tudo, minha essência é o house e o tech house. Você pode ouvir meu trabalho em todas as plataformas.
3 What makes your artistic vision uniquely yours? O que torna sua visão artística única?
Especially regarding the type of sound I’m creating. I think that, even though it has a distinctive style, it’s different from the rest. If there’s one thing that stands out in my sound, it’s the groove.
Principalmente o tipo de som que estou criando. Acho que, mesmo tendo um estilo marcante, ele é diferente dos demais. Se existe uma coisa que se destaca no meu som, é o groove.
4 What has been the biggest lesson in your journey so far? / Qual foi o maior aprendizado da sua trajetória até agora?
Knowing how to play for those at the back, not just for the crowd on the dance floor.
Saber tocar para quem está lá no fundo, e não apenas para o público na pista de dança.
5 What is the biggest goal you are working toward right now? Qual é o maior objetivo que você está buscando alcançar neste momento?
To be honest, I have no limits.

6 Looking ahead, what kind of impact do you hope to make through your music? / Olhando para o futuro, que tipo de impacto você espera causar através da sua música?
I’m really happy with what I’m achieving and it’s not just about signing with major labels or getting support from big names; it’s about any DJ being interested in playing my music.
Estou muito feliz com o que venho conquistando, e não se trata apenas de lançar músicas por grandes labels ou receber apoio de big names. Trata-se de qualquer DJ ter interesse em tocar minhas músicas.
Latest / Current Project
Currently, my projects involve producing and promoting my party (Umami) and rising to the occasion for the high-profile shows I’m playing, such as Metamorfosi or the Carl Cox party at UNVRS.
My single on Abracadabra (Blond:ish’s label) has just been released, and my debut EP on Metamorfosi Recs is coming out in August.
Atualmente, meus projetos envolvem produzir e promover minha festa, Umami, além de estar à altura dos grandes eventos em que estou me apresentando, como a Metamorfosi e a festa do Carl Cox na UNVRS.
Meu single pela Abracadabra, gravadora da Blond:ish, acaba de ser lançado, e meu EP de estreia pela Metamorfosi Recs será lançado em agosto.
